Today's recipe is one of my favourite Japanese quick everyday dish - Teriyaki chicken rice. I can eat this every single day. :D Today's amount is for 2 person.
The ingredients needed are simply as below:
1. 2 piece of chicken thighs - cut into small pieces
2. Couple spring onions - cut into small pieces
3. One white onion - cut into small pieces
4. White sesame, soy sauce, sugar, salt
First, put all chicken pieces in a big plate, add sugar, white sesame, soy sauce leave if for about 30 minutes. This can add flavour into chicken meat. Then fry it with some vegetable oil (or sunflower oil), until the meat turns a little bit white, then add spring onions and white onions. Then add a bowl of water that can just cover the meat, cover it with lid, cook it for about 10-15 minutes.
Done! Get your rice ready, add some vegetable salad, put cooked chicken on. We are ready to eat. This teriyaki chicken recipe is not super oily, also has vegetables and meat, very healthy.
