Today's recipe is slow cooked pumpkin chicken When I managing this Sunday recipe post, I don't even consider about Halloween, because I am not a party person at all. But seems like this Sunday recipe accidentally become a very seasonal one. :D
The ingredients needed are simply as below:
1. 1/2 of pumpkin
2. 2 chicken thighs
3. Soy sauce, sugar, salt.
First, cut pumpkin and chicken thighs into similar size. Then separately fry pumpkin and chicken thigh. After that, put them back into pot together, then add a bowl of water, soy sauce and sugar. Cover it with a lid, use medium heat to cook for about 10-15 minutes, check during the middle the middle just in case the water do not dry out.
Done! Here is how it looks after 10-15 minutes cook. You can add some sesame oil if you like. I don't usually eat pumpkin when it taste salty, but I do like this pumpkin chicken recipe a lot. I guess this will be come one of my every week recipe from now on.
