The museum is located in a very awkward, the address shows as Shinjuku, but it is actually near Waseda area, as well as the middle of no train station. We took JR Sobu Line and walk from Iidabashi Station to the museum, it is quite a bit walk. But I do enjoy walking in Japan because you will find so many interesting places or hidden shops.

There are total six floors 5 floors, 2rd and 3th floor you can't take pictures, from the 4th floor you can. I must say her imagination is unbelievable. Every single print is full of details and meanings. Love all the black and white combination prints on the 2nd floor. If you like selfies, then you don't want to miss this cute toilet full of red dots -w-.

Overall, I like this museum, the ticket price is reasonable as well (1000 yen). You need to book it in advance online, here is the website. So far all the ticket until this year December has been sold out. The ticket for 2018 January is starting from Nov 1st 10 am. So get ready for it.

I found this exciting news couple month ago on some social media. In Japan, it is very different to get the ticket online for popular exhibitions or museums, so I waited all night and all day in order to get Yayoi Kusama Museum first day ticket.

The museum building is every catching around that area, as well as Yayoi Kusama's dots design on the window. If you don't know who she is, she is one of the popular artists in Japan. There was other her exhibition called "My Eternal Soul" Exhibition at the National Art Center. That one was amazing as well.

Ok let us back to this one :D The off-white building with irregular windows make it very modern, sadly the day we went there is cloudy, so everything looks a little bit grey.

Here comes my favourite part of this museum, which is the 4th floor. There is a darkroom in this floor which contains a light display. You will see Yayoi Kusama's pumpkin display that interactive with lights. Love it!

On the top floor, there is an open space. You will see her famous pumpkin pieces. This one is full of Mosaic. It will be so nice if the weather is good with sunshine. That is my only shame of that day.
