I ordered a latte with a strawberry shortcake that day, the cake is so cute but expensive (about 550~650 JPY). The latte tastes just like normal coffee for me, a little bit weak, but the cake is good not too sweet.
Overall if you are not aiming for a great taste coffee, you just want to find a quiet place during your trip to relax, writing some journal or just relax think about nothing, then this place will be nice.

Here is the address: 3 Chome-10-4 Nishiasakusa, Taitō
PS: seems if you are bringing kids with you, you need to call them in advance. sometimes kids are not allowed.

One thing I really like about Japan is you will never know what you gonna find when you walking on the street. I accidentally find this cool cafe near my Airbnb apartment in the "back" of Asakusa area. If you are looking for a place with less tourist or people to relax and get a cup of coffee, this can be the one.

The name of this cafe is called "Cafe Otnova", it is hidden in a very small street behind Asakusa View Hotel. If you want to find it from Senso-Ji, it is about 10 minutes walk.

I love those individual coffee shops in Japan because they have it is own style. The main interior theme using wood base. Mix with some vintage furniture, green plants, make the atmosphere very comfortable.

You need to order first then you can sit wherever you like. There are 2 floors, I believe the second floor is for holding event or reservation purpose.
