Travel in Japan - Coffee Mountain, Kinshicho

The fun of living in the east part of Tokyo is because this area has so many shops and stuff that contains history.
After living in Tokyo for about 2 years, I finally used to those "creepy" local cafes and restaurants (only for those that you can actually see inside). I found this cool cafe around Kinshicho area one day on my way to do some weekly shopping.

Coffee Mountain, this cafe is beside one of the biggest shopping center in Kinshicho. Outside of the cafe is very retro and "old", the blueish sign is very eye-catching. When you open the original wooden door, you will find there is a "creepy" sound which tells you how traditional and retro this cafe is.

You can see the owner, maybe 90 years old? He is still making the coffee for customers. I ordered a cup of original coffee and a small tiramisu. This kind of coffee shop is different with those fashionable ones. When you drinking coffee here, the time seems back to 80's. You can image that owner making coffee for all his guests since he was maybe 20's.

Because of Tokyo 2020 Olympic, the government destroyed so many old buildings that have histories. I feel so shame for those buildings and shops. So when you come to Japan, try to visit more local shops, in order to help their business.
